Levi Jefferson

Levi Jefferson, a spirited 13-year-old resident of North Ranch, has spent the last seven years immersing himself in both his studies and the world of competitive tennis. Living alongside his supportive family – his father, David; his mother, Kelly; and his 9-year-old brother, Riley – Levi has become an integral part of the community.
 Currently attending Medea Creek Middle School, Levi not only excels academically but also actively participates in various extracurricular activities. His leadership qualities shine as the Student Body President of Medea Creek, where he is deeply involved in ASB, Science Olympiad, WEB Leadership council, and the National Junior Honors Society.
Beyond school walls, Levi generously dedicates his time to a youth-run non-profit organization, contributing to the collection and donation of gently used tennis equipment to underserved communities and Title 1 schools. His commitment to giving back reflects his compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
 Levi's true passion, however, lies in the world of tennis. Introduced to the sport at the age of 8 through a local summer camp, he quickly fell in love with the competition, physical challenges, and mental fortitude required by tennis. Over the past five years, Levi's dedication has translated into notable achievements, including reaching the finals in both USTA Team Zonals and Brewer Team Cup.  He also made it to the consolation quarterfinals at Winter Nationals and played doubles at Easter Bowl this past year. 
A highlight of Levi's tennis journey includes his participation in the USTA's CTC (Competition Training Center) program for the past four years. The team's second-place finish in Ventura/Santa Barbara this past year stands as a testament to Levi's commitment to both personal and team success.
 What sets Levi apart in this sport is not just his skill on the court but also his unwavering passion and self-belief. Recognizing tennis as a solitary endeavor, he draws strength from within, navigating the ups and downs of the game with resilience and determination.
Levi's commitment to balancing academics, tennis, and various activities in his life reflects a disciplined routine. Prioritizing school and dedicating time to rigorous tennis training has allowed him to develop strong time management skills. 
Beyond his academic and athletic pursuits, For fun Levi finds  plays basketball with friends and is also exploring pickleball. Additionally, he enjoys helping his younger brother
Riley,  who plays travel baseball and tennis , with his tennis game and hitting balls with him from time to time.
Levi showcases a supportive and engaging dynamic within the family. The combination of academic focus, sportsmanship, and family involvement contributes to a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle for Levi.
A source of inspiration for Levi is his father, who embodies positivity and encouragement. His dad's life philosophy of pursuing dreams and finding joy in one's passions has become a guiding principle for Levi, motivating him to forge his own path in the world of tennis.
 As Levi continues to weave through the challenges of adolescence, school, and tennis tournaments, his story unfolds as a testament to the power of passion, self-belief, and the unwavering support of a loving family.
